The board of Arsenal football club have reportedly told Arsene Wenger that it’s either time to start spending some of the club’s impressive cash reserves, or it’s time to pack up his bags and leave the Emirates. 

The Sun claim that the Frenchman has been told that if he doesn’t strengthen the club’s squad with some real big names this summer, he risks not being offered a new contract – with his current deal running out at the end of next season. 

Arsenal have larger cash reserves than any other club in the world – currently standing at £159m and rising fast.
