President Muhammadu Buhari, who is also the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, and the other members of the Commisson presented 38 nominees to the Senate for confirmation as members of the Federal Character Commission.

However, the Senate confirmed 37 nominees to be to serve at the Federal Character Commission and these nominees are:
