Reports reaching #OSG says, Nollywood actress Ibinabo Fibresima was today granted bail by an Appeal Court sitting in Lagos.
The former AGN president was granted bail in the sum of N2 million and two sureties who are residents in Lagos in like sum by an Appeal Court sitting in Lagos, pending the determination of a suit filed by her at the Supreme Court.
Ibinabo’s lawyers led by former commissioner in Lagos state, Adeyemi Muiz Banire (SAN) had earlier filled a bail application to the Supreme Court on medical grounds.
Recall, the actress was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, after losing an appeal over the death of a Lagos State Doctor, Suraj Giwa who died following an auto accident involving her car along the Lekki-Epe expresseway 10 years ago.
