Students at the Jagganath University have begun protesting the killing of a Bangladeshi student.

28 year old Nazzimudin Samad was hacked to death following his criticism of Islam in a Facebook post. Atheist bloggers are targeted in Bangladesh with four bloggers killed in the past one year.

Students have blocked roads in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka as they blame authorities of failing to act in the past cases of the murders of atheist bloggers.

No suspects have been named in the killing but reports say that three men on a motorcycle hacked Samad to death and then shot him.
