The Minority leader of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio has been re-invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for questioning.
The former governor of Akwa Ibom state is reportedly being quizzed in connection with a petition brought against him by Leo Ekpenyong.
The petitioner alleged that Senator Akpabio, fraudulently converted 108.1 billion Naira belonging to Akwa Ibom State during his tenure as governor.
Senator Akpabio has claimed that he has nothing to hide and says he will continue to turn himself in for questioning whenever he is invited.
