British singer, Adele publicly pledged her support for Kesha as she received her award at the 2016 Brit Awards.

Kesha’s court case asking that her contract with Kemosabe records be terminated because she had been assaulted by label owner, Dr. Luke, failed as the judge insisted she must see out her contract.

Kesha has received support from fellow artists immediately after the court’s decision, with Taylor Swift donating $250,000 to her. Adele said on stage, “I’d like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha,”
