Abi has become the ninth Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemate to leave the 2026 edition after receiving the lowest votes for the week.
The reality star left the house on Sunday night during the live eviction show after viewers gave her the fewest votes.
Abi’s exit came after Big Brother nominated all the housemates, except Keivo, for eviction during week seven.
The nomination process took place on Monday evening after Tram emerged as the head of house (HoH) and gained immunity from eviction.
Big Brother changed the nomination format this week. Instead of naming housemates they wanted to nominate, the contestants had to search for red envelopes hidden around the house.
Keivo found the “safe or not” card. Big Brother then asked Tram to use his veto power as HoH.
Tram had to decide whether to save Keivo or leave him up for eviction. He chose to save him.
Big Brother then announced that every other housemate was automatically up for eviction.
Abi therefore faced the public vote alongside the other nominated housemates. She received the lowest number of votes and lost her place in the competition.
Martins and Mercedes became the first housemates to leave the reality show, while Neche exited voluntarily.
Kamsy was the fourth housemate to leave the show. Cassi followed on August 23, while Sultex and Goddessa became the sixth and seventh evictees.
Gerard followed them as the eighth housemate to leave the competition.
Nomy, however, left the show through disqualification. Big Brother disqualified her on September 7 for repeatedly defying house instructions.
The 2026 season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates. The winner will receive a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the largest payout in the show’s history since its debut in 2006.
