Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has named discipline, patience and the fear of God as three things young people need to achieve success. He also advised them to “Marry a good wife.”
The singer shared the advice during a street interview while walking with his wife, Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.
When asked about an important character trait people should consider on their journey to success, Mr Eazi said, “Marry a good wife.”
He also urged young adults to embrace discipline, patience and the fear of God as they pursue their goals.
“I would say discipline, patience, and fear of God,” he said.
Mr Eazi spoke about the challenges he faced while building his career. He said dealing with doubt can also push people to achieve more.
“The difficulty of unbelief when you are being second-guessed. You can turn it into something that drives you as well,” he said.
The singer has built a successful career in music and business. He is known for hit songs and his work as an entrepreneur.
Mr Eazi and Otedola have attracted attention as one of Nigeria’s prominent celebrity couples. The pair got married in 2025 after several years together.
