Odumodublvck arrest claims have triggered fresh controversy after the rapper’s legal team denied any outstanding warrant against him. The lawyers also rejected suggestions that Odumodublvck remains wanted by the Nigeria Police Force.
In a statement signed by Adokiye, his legal representative, the team described the August 29 incident as concerning. According to the lawyers, police officers attempted to arrest the musician during the early hours of August 29, 2026. A viral video from the incident showed Odumodublvck confronting officers at a Lagos club following his performance. The rapper reportedly argued that a court order prevented the arrest and prior invitations had received legal attention.
His lawyers maintain that their client has never evaded any legitimate invitation or resisted lawful police procedures.
Lawyers Deny Outstanding Arrest Warrant
The legal team stated that no outstanding arrest warrant exists against Odumodublvck. They also insisted that police authorities do not currently list the rapper as a wanted person. Furthermore, the lawyers said Odumodublvck has consistently responded to legitimate invitations through his legal representatives. The statement urged Nigerians to disregard speculation and rely on verified information from the rapper’s legal representatives.
Lawyers Demand Urgent Police Inquiry
Odumodublvck’s lawyers have requested an urgent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the August 29 encounter. They sent their formal response to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Lagos State Police Command.
The team also copied the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, regarding the matter. According to the lawyers, multiple police commands have pursued investigative activities concerning the same subject matter. They argue that the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit already handles the matter. The lawyers further stated that pending court proceedings exist before an Abuja Magistrate Court. They described the matter as subjudice and questioned the need for another invitation or arrest attempt.
Odumodublvck Feud Adds Context
The latest development follows Odumodublvck’s prolonged dispute involving fellow rapper Blaqbonez and Chocolate City. The controversy includes public accusations concerning alleged sexual abuse cover-ups within Nigeria’s music industry. Odumodublvck has previously faced alleged police invitations connected with the wider dispute.
His legal representatives now want authorities to clarify the circumstances surrounding the latest encounter. They maintain that their client respects the law and continues cooperating with appropriate authorities. Meanwhile, the lawyers have urged fans and media organisations to avoid spreading unverified claims.
