Apple TV subscription price increase has taken effect in the United States, with Apple raising the monthly cost from $12.99 to $14.99. The latest increase adds $2 monthly, representing roughly a 15.4 percent rise for subscribers paying month-to-month.
Apple also increased its annual subscription from $99 to $119, giving customers another pricing change to consider. New subscribers face the higher prices immediately, while existing customers will receive notification approximately one month before their billing changes.
Meanwhile, Apple’s individual Apple One bundle now costs $21.95 monthly, compared with its previous $19.95 price. The bundle includes Apple TV alongside services including Apple Music, iCloud+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and Apple Fitness+.
Apple’s latest move represents the fourth Apple TV price increase within four years, highlighting rising costs across streaming services. When Apple TV launched in 2019, customers paid only $4.99 monthly, meaning today’s price stands approximately three-times higher.
Despite higher prices, Apple TV continues offering hundreds of original shows and movies alongside expanding live sports coverage. Subscribers can currently watch Formula 1, Major League Soccer, and Friday Night Baseball without additional subscription charges.
Popular productions including ‘Ted Lasso’, ‘Severance’, ‘Silo’, ‘The Morning Show’, and ‘Slow Horses’ remain part of Apple’s offering. The Apple TV subscription price increase arrives as competing streaming platforms similarly raise prices, putting additional pressure on household entertainment budgets.
