FIFA Releases Full 2027 Women’s World Cup Playoff Fixtures List

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 playoff fixtures are confirmed, with six nations battling through November and December for Brazil qualification. Uzbekistan, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, Chinese Taipei, Ghana, and Ecuador will compete across three matchdays during the preliminary phase.

Matchday one features Uzbekistan against Papua New Guinea, while Chinese Taipei faces South Africa and Ghana meets Ecuador in encounters. On matchday two, Uzbekistan will play Ghana, South Africa will meet Ecuador, while Papua New Guinea faces Chinese Taipei next.

The final preliminary matchday pits South Africa against Uzbekistan, Papua New Guinea against Ghana, and Chinese Taipei against Ecuador next. Each team will play three matches, with the two highest ranked nations advancing to the decisive final playoff phase overall.

FIFA scheduled the preliminary phase between November 24 and December 5, 2026, with matches played in Brazil during this window. Four additional teams will join the top two, representing Concacaf, UEFA, and CONMEBOL, to complete the six-team final phase overall.

Those six teams will enter three single-match knockout paths, with each winner earning one of the final World Cup places. The final playoff phase will take place between February 23 and March 6, 2027, according to FIFA’s confirmed calendar period.

Meanwhile, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 will run from June 24 through July 25 across eight Brazilian host cities. These FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 playoff fixtures therefore offer six nations their final route toward the tournament’s Brazilian edition.

FIFA confirmed the nine-match preliminary schedule following the draw held at its Zurich headquarters on August 20, 2026. The top two teams will advance to the final playoff phase, joining two Concacaf representatives, one UEFA team, and Venezuela from CONMEBOL.

The final phase will determine the last three World Cup qualifiers, while Brazil will host the tournament from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
