Ify Okoye Speaks on Renewed Okoye Brothers’ Dispute

Ify Okoye, wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has spoken about the renewed feud among the Okoye brothers. She said she will not engage in public accusations or disputes.

The conflict between Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye, founders of the defunct music group Psquare, intensified in recent days after Peter made fresh claims against his elder brother.

Peter and Jude Exchange Claims

Last week, Peter accused Jude of shutting him out of some proceeds from the group’s music catalogue.

He also claimed he was not a signatory to one of the bank accounts used to collect royalties.

Peter further alleged that he did not receive a specific sum of $25,000.

Jude rejected the allegations. He maintained that the brothers shared income from their musical projects equally.

Ify Responds

In a post on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Ify said she would not allow herself to become part of the public dispute.

“There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God,” she wrote.

“I have become aware of stories that have been twisted and manipulated to draw me into disputes that I neither created nor desire. I will not respond by trading accusations or fueling public conflict.

“As a believer, I choose to let God be my witness, for He knows every conversation, every intention, and every truth hidden from human eyes.”

Call for Mercy and Healing

Ify also referred to the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira.

“The story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that while people can deceive others for a time, no one can deceive God. He is the righteous Judge who weighs every motive, exposes every falsehood, and upholds the truth in His perfect time,” she wrote.

“I have no desire to defend myself before those committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right.

“My prayer is not for judgment, but for mercy.”

She added: “May God bring conviction where it is needed, healing where there is brokenness, and peace where there is unrest. May He soften hardened hearts, restore what has been damaged, and lead us all into truth, humility, repentance, and His perfect love.”

Feud Resurfaces

The Okoye brothers first split in 2017 over Jude’s role as their manager.

They settled their differences in 2021 and reunited later that year for a headline concert.
