Influencer and content creator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has explained why he did not attend the wedding ceremony of popular TikTok stars and online streamers Peller and Jarvis.
The glamorous event took place on Saturday and attracted celebrities, content creators and friends of the couple.
In a message shared on his social media page, VDM said fear of arrest stopped him from travelling to Lagos for the celebration.
“Happy married life to you guys. And the child you’re expecting is blessed.
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to Lagos. I’ve got bigger enemies in Lagos, and me and Lagos police no be friends. Once I touch down in Lagos, there’s a high chance I’ll be arrested.
“I have Peller’s asoebi here with me. I’ve been watching the wedding, and I love how everything is coordinated, and everybody is happy.
“I really love Peller and Jarvis. That’s why when he does some funny things, I get upset,” says VDM.
Although he missed the ceremony, the social media personality congratulated the couple and expressed happiness over the success of the event.
He also praised the organisation of the wedding and said he enjoyed watching the celebrations online.
