Twenty-three housemates in the ongoing ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition of Big Brother Naija face a fake eviction after Big Brother unveiled a surprise twist and spared only Head of House (HoH) Chimsom Chuka.

Big Brother introduced the twist on Monday after the HoH games. During the nomination session, he directed each housemate to nominate two contestants for possible eviction.

Chimsom, who won the HoH challenge, enjoyed immunity from nomination. Big Brother also warned housemates not to discuss their nominations with anyone in the house or face sanctions.

Although the nomination process ended with all but Chimsom on the eviction list, viewers later learned that no housemate would leave the show this week.

The housemates, however, remain unaware of the development. Big Brother left them believing they still face possible eviction on Sunday.

He also introduced a new twist called “The Gambit.”

Under the format, viewers will vote for one male and one female housemate to take on a special role in the house.

The selected contestants will stay in the house until the end of the season. They will take part in tasks and games and can win prizes. However, they cannot compete for the grand prize.

Instead, they will serve as male and female representatives while obeying all house rules.
