Rapper Blaqbonez has denied sexual abuse allegations after fellow artist Odumodublvck accused him in a series of posts on X, renewing their long-running feud.
Odumodublvck claimed some people in the music industry shielded Blaqbonez from sexual abuse allegations. He also alleged police detained the rapper over the matter and later asked him to apologise.
“Blaqbonez, when you were detained, before your release, you were told to apologise. Same detention that Abuchi paid influencers to lie about that you did not go. You said you cannot apologise verbally, so that it won’t be recorded,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck also accused Chocolate City of trying to stop his lawyer from representing him. He claimed Blaqbonez first sought an out-of-court settlement before paying money to the complainant.
Blaqbonez denied the allegations. He said they stemmed from a past relationship “that ended respectfully” and accused Odumodublvck of trying to damage his reputation.
“The accusations being pushed are deliberate fabrications designed to damage my name, my work, and everything I’ve built. They have caused pain to my family, my team, and those who support me. It’s disheartening to see people weaponise falsehoods for attention and revenge,” he said.
He added: “I am cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure that the truth is established once and for all. I have nothing to hide, and I welcome transparency.”
Authorities have not confirmed Odumodublvck’s claims. No court has ruled on the allegations.
