The platform brings together industry leaders, policymakers, creatives, entrepreneurs, students, technology enthusiasts, and influencers to explore emerging trends, foster innovation, and elevate standards in digital marketing, technology, advertising, content creation, and the arts. This year’s debate edition is themed “Signal: Cutting Through the Noise,” reflecting the importance of critical thinking, informed dialogue, and clarity in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

The programme is convened by Oluwatosin Ajibade, Founder of OloriSuperGal Media and Convener of the New Media Conference, while Isabella Adediji will serve as host. Three well-known public secondary schools in Surulere will compete for the championship title: Obele Community Senior/Junior High School, Ansar-Ud-Deen Senior/Junior High School, and Gbaja Girls’ Senior/Junior High School. The competition will feature nine participants, with one school emerging as the overall winner.

The judging panel for the 2026 edition includes Grecelda Hobson, Acting Managing Director of Headwaters Business Evolutions Ltd, and Adebowale Olowu, Project Director of Prestige Africa Education Awards and African Biology Olympiad. The debate builds on the success of previous editions, continuing NMC’s commitment to empowering young people through intellectual engagement, public speaking, leadership development, and constructive dialogue.
