Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has accused her estranged husband, Frederick Leonard, of having an affair with a married woman. She also urged him to attend court so they can finalise their divorce.

Ovire made the allegations in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories. She shared a video showing Leonard holding hands with a woman she claimed is married and has four children.

The actress said Leonard denied the relationship until she obtained evidence. She described the pair as “shameless lots.”

“Married woman, oh. Shameless lots. Please don’t avoid coming to customary court on June 23rd, for the 2nd time,” she wrote.

Ovire also claimed Leonard failed to appear in court after filing for divorce. According to her, he sent his lawyer instead.

She further wrote: “So-called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with 4 children, you ran to a blogger that I was lying, but when you were served & saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen 1 out of many, yet refused to show up in court but sent your lawyer.

“You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn’t show up when you were served. Please don’t avoid the customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd because I’m coming with receipts, & let’s make this Divorce done & dusted. So both of you can finally be together.”

Ovire also reposted a message from February 8. In the post, she asked: “What will you do if you find out that the man you are dating is sleeping with a married woman with kids?”

The actress suggested that the post reflected her experience. As of the time of this report, Leonard has not responded to the allegations. The couple married in 2022.
