Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu served pinstripes, Gurkha trousers and a statement brooch in a custom Atafo look for Sunday’s live eviction show.
“What’s a Sunday on Big Brother Naija without looking forward to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s look? Is that even a Sunday? Of course not.”
The TV host and lawyer stepped onto the BBNaija stage in a dusty periwinkle blue crossover shirt-jacket. He paired it with navy Gurkha trousers and black glittered loafers.
Ebuka’s custom Atafo look
The custom creation by Nigerian fashion house Atafo featured wide peak lapels and a double-breasted button design. It also had subtle metallic pinstripes.
The crossover shirt-jacket blended the structure of a tailored jacket with the softer feel of a shirt.
Ebuka paired the piece with high-waisted navy Gurkha trousers. The trousers featured double front pleats, side-adjuster straps and a wide-leg cut.
The navy trousers also carried pinstripes. However, their darker shade contrasted with the lighter stripes on the periwinkle shirt-jacket.
The pairing gave the outfit a coordinated look without making it feel like traditional office wear.
The statement accessories
Ebuka added an ornate silver-and-crystal brooch to the left lapel. The accessory stood out against the periwinkle fabric.
He completed the look with wire-rimmed round glasses, diamond stud earrings and a silver chain necklace.
The accessories added more personality to the tailored outfit. The brooch, in particular, looked like a bold finishing touch.
Ebuka’s Sunday appearances have become a regular part of the BBNaija live show. His outfits often attract attention from viewers alongside the night’s eviction drama.
