Ayomide Iwasokun, popularly known as Mide from BBNaija Season 10, has reopened one of the season’s most talked-about controversies, sparking fresh conversations among fans.
During a recent discussion with fellow housemate Zita, the pair reflected on the incident and confirmed that they have moved on from the disagreement.
“I was scared in that moment. I was shocked, and I’m happy that we’ve moved past it now because we’ve talked about it and we’re cool,” Zita said.
However, she admitted that one issue from the season still bothered her. Zita said she felt frustrated by comments that suggested she was a colourist, insisting that her disagreements with Mide had nothing to do with complexion.
“The only thing that annoyed me was the colourist comments,” she said, referring to a conversation involving Mide and another housemate.
Zita argued that the remarks led some viewers to believe she treated Mide unfairly because of her skin tone.
“We had our argument. We fought. Nothing about complexion or me being a colourist,” she said. “For you to project those things on me wasn’t fair.”
She added that the comments changed how some fans viewed her.
“The narrative became that I was a colourist, and I kept asking, ‘From where to where?’ I don’t think that way, and I don’t act that way. I’ve had issues with people in the house, but none of them involved colourism,” she said.
Zita said she wanted to address the issue publicly and clear up any misunderstanding. Her comments have reignited discussions among BBNaija viewers, with many sharing different opinions on one of Season 10’s most memorable controversies.
