HBO is set to air a special feature film on the making of its upcoming Harry Potter series HBO reboot this Easter Sunday, offering fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the highly anticipated project.
Titled Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic, the feature will spotlight the creative journey behind the series, including interviews with cast and crew, as well as the process of casting its three lead characters—Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

The special also revisits Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first instalment in J.K. Rowling’s iconic book series, which forms the basis of the show’s debut season.
“It’s been 25 years since audiences first walked the hallowed halls of Hogwarts. This exclusive special offers an inside look at the epic scale and meticulous care behind HBO’s new Harry Potter series, told through the lens of artists, craftspeople and technicians who are bringing J.K Rowling’s beloved books to life for a new generation.”
The teaser, released on April 2, features appearances from actors including John Lithgow, who plays Albus Dumbledore, and Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape, with narration by Nick Frost.
The first season of the multi-series project will follow Harry’s early journey at Hogwarts, where he discovers his identity and forms lasting friendships.
Meanwhile, anticipation for the show continues to build, with its trailer recording 277 million views within 48 hours making it the most-watched trailer in HBO and HBO Max history.
