Veteran Nollywood actor Nosa Rex, popularly known as Baba Rex, has shared a personal insight into how he balances his acting career with his marriage life. In a recent social media update, the actor revealed that he always informs his wife before accepting movie roles that involve romantic contact or intimacy with a co-star. This approach, according to Rex, helps him preserve trust and transparency in his long-standing marriage. 

The actor made the disclosure on X, formerly Twitter, where he explained that he chooses to communicate with his wife ahead of filming any scenes that require “touching” or close physical interaction with a female colleague. Nosa Rex emphasized that this has become a standard part of his process when assessing script demands that involve romance. 

This revelation comes as part of Rex’s celebration of his 10th wedding anniversary with his wife, Deborah. In his social media update, Rex described his wife as his “World Best” and thanked her for the patience and understanding she has shown throughout his career. 

The actor explained that roles involving touching scenes are something he does not take lightly. He said that before committing to such roles, he always updates his wife, asking for her understanding and ensuring she is comfortable with his participation. In his words, he “first updates my wife and beg her to be involved” before agreeing to any movie scene that requires physical closeness with female actors.
