DJ Chicken, a controversial street DJ and hypeman, has resorted to social media to show his immense thanks and happiness after getting a $20,000 (more than ₦30 million) present from Nigerian rap legend Olamide Baddo.

In a video that’s now making waves online, DJ Chicken couldn’t contain his excitement, shouting repeatedly:

“Baddo na baba! Olamide, you do this one! Thank you, boss!”

The street entertainer, known for his unfiltered rants and loud personality, made it clear that the gesture was a big deal for him, especially in an industry where many celebrities are accused of ignoring their grassroots fans and contributors to street culture.

Alongside his celebration, DJ Chicken didn’t hold back as he used the moment to criticize other popular Nigerian celebrities whom he labeled as “stingy” and “ungrateful.”

Though he didn’t name specific individuals.
