Prime Video’s latest travel reality series ‘Ebuka Turns Up Africa’ spearheaded by TV host and lawyer, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is living up to expectations.
Promising to be drama-filled, the reality show stars Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Zubby Michael, Timini Egbuson, Jimmie Akinsola, Onoja Adole, and Alistair Englebert Preston. The six guys journey across Africa enjoying lavish parties, unforgettable nightlife, and luxury.
After being made available on Prime Video, the first and second episodes have sparked conversation among fans and viewers. The struggle for dominance between actors Zubby Michael and Timini Egbuson is a standout moment from the episodes that have been released.
In a clip from the episode that have since gone viral, Zubby claims he is the biggest actor in Africa, Timini Egbuson begs to differ and claims he’s a bigger actor than Zubby, a statement Zubby replies with “Timini, I can buy you”.
The tension is felt, as there is a back and forth and war of words between the two actors, with Timini Egbuson repeatedly addressing Zubby Michael as “local”.
For a basketball game, the boys quickly travel to Kigali, Rwanda. Originally claiming he doesn’t know much about basketball and isn’t a fan, Zubby pulled out, but Ebuka insisted he go, and Zubby complies.
Fans flocked in droves to take pictures with the boys following the basketball game. Jimmie Akinsola unexpectedly claims that, in contrast to Timini Egbuson, who asserted to be the more accomplished actor, Zubby Michael was the show’s star and received more attention from fans.
Episodes 3 & 4 is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024.
