David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to appear as a guest on the Globacom sponsored African Voices Playmakers, a 30-minute program that will air on CNN this week.
Davido is a well-known music artist who gained fame with the release of “Dami Duro“, the second single from his debut studio album, Omo Baba Olowo, in 2012. He has since released multiple hit singles, including “Gobe”, “Aye”, and “The Money”.
In addition to his success in the music industry, Davido founded his own record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), in 2016. The label has become a platform for many up-and-coming artists to showcase their talents and achieve success.
Davido’s achievements have earned him international recognition, including winning Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards and being listed as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2019. He was also named on Time magazine’s Time 100 Next List in February 2021.
Davido, who recently released his latest album titled Timeless on March 31, 2023, is a highly followed artist on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
He will feature on CNN Channel 401 starting from Saturday at 11.30 a.m., with repeats of the program scheduled for Sunday at 4.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on the same channel.
