Lagos State Private Schools Will Resume on August 3

For the purpose of the 2020 WAEC exams, the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) has announced saying that Senior Secondary Students only should resume across all private schools in the state on Monday, 3rd August, 2020.

While announcing this, Amusa Olawale, the NAPPS President, revealed during a press briefing that there are ongoing plans to make sure that the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations holds in September.

He also said, “We had a meeting with the Director General, Quality Assurance, Lagos State Ministry of Education and we shall be resuming on August 3. We have been given clearance for reopening of schools but if a school does not have the requirements, they may not be allowed to resume. For this reason, we also set up NAPPS quality assurance committee to go round and ensure our members meet up with these requirements.”
