Certain women have demonstrated a high-level of playing skills in the Nigerian Football Sector. Some of these women are:

Asisat Lamina Oshoala: She was born on the 9th of October 1994 and she has played for the Nigerian team several times. She is a professional footballer who has made waves not only in the Nigerian sports sector, bit also in the international sphere as she now plays in FC Barcelona Femeni. Ngozi Okobi: She was born on the 14th of December, 1993 and she has been playing for the Nigerian team since 2008 under the under-17 squad. Not only that, she was immediately called up to be part of the senior team after the U-17 tournament.
