While the ban on religious gatherings has been lifted in certain states, there is still a worldwide lockdown on school reopening. Even though certain schools have employed the use of internet and technology to continue e-learning, certain schools in rural areas might not have the same fate. Thus, schools might have to re-open soon amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, however these guidelines ought to be followed:
- All schools should be decontaminated before reopening in order to ensure the safety of the teachers and children. School proprietors and adult teachers should be trained on how to continually disinfect the school in order to ensure safety.

The use of face masks should be made compulsory for children and teachers. Schools can also be made to have extra face masks which should not be recycled so as to avoid the spread of the virus.

Infrared thermometers should be used at the school entrance so as to prevent those with high fever from coming into the school as high fever is one of the symptoms of the Coronavirus.

Physical learning should be conducted in such a way that children are at least 2 metres apart from each other.
These are guidelines that schools can adopt in order to prepare for reopening sooner or later.
