Lagos State Government has decided to begin chloroquine clinical trials this week following the approval of the National Agency of Food and Drugs Administration (NAFDAC). This appears to be positive news; however, Professor Abayomi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Health however said “to put together a clinical trial, is a very difficult thing; there are people that specialize in clinical research.

“We have to perform the clinical trial, in such a way that, we would be able to get a very clear result, out of it and it won’t have any bias”.
