Real men don’t cry. Well that’s what we were told as little boys. But over years gone by, I’ve cried over painful goodbyes; I’ve laughed so hard that my sides hurt and tears ran down my cheeks unabashedly. I have learnt that tears do not reflect weakness but on the contrary strength, and most often that we are still flesh and bones after all. And it is okay to cry sometimes.
Inspired from British embroider “broiderybitch”, this collection depicts the delicate balance between vulnerability, expression and strength.
