Venice is the city of the Pope and Fela Durotoye and his wife, Tara, have decided to celebrate his birthday in that city. An instagram post by his wife, Tara Fela-Durotoye shows the couple on a boat in one of Venice’s water ways.
Born Oluwafeolami Durotoye May 12, 1971 in Ibadan, South West Nigeria, Fela is a motivational speaker, corporate strategist and business strategist.
The motivational speaker has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with Economics, Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) and a Master of Philosophy Degree (M.Phil) in Strategic Management, from the Obafemi Awolowo University.
He is also an Alumnus of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in the United States. He is nicknamed Mr. Nigeria because of his passion for the country.
During his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) (1995-1997), he started “The Pool Bar”, which was the number one Hang-Out on the campus.
Fela moved on from Ventures & Trusts to Phillips Consulting in 1998, where he rose to head the Customer Service Group until 2000.
Today, Fela Durotoye is the Chief Executive Officer of Visible Impact; a social enterprise set up to tackle social and environmental challenges and limitations with the aim to build people into super-achievers and responsible leaders, build corporate organizations into global market leaders and responsible corporate citizens, as well as assist governments in developing blueprints and programs that create a desirable environment for their people to do great things.
He is widely regarded as a nation builder, corporate strategist and unarguably, Nigeria’s most sought after prolific business strategist and corporate activator.
