The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has rejected Russia’s reasons for its invasion of Turkish airspace as the incident threatens to spiral out of control.
Russian airplanes entered Turkish airspace this weekend as Turkish President, Recep Erdogan has insisted that an attack on Turkey is an attack on NATO.

Turkey on the other has carried out attacks against ISIL positions in Syria as it fights back against terrorist attacks in Turkey.
The Russian defense ministry explained that it’s aircraft only entered Turkish territory because of “bad weather” amid reports that Russia is carrying out airstrikes against rebel held positions in Syria.
Russian and Turkish officials have spoken on intents to meet and discuss the current misunderstanding.
