A year after a Malaysian airliner MH17 was shot down in Ukraine by suspected Russian backed separatists, Russia has vetoed a United Nations Resolution to set up a tribunal prosecute those who shot down the plane.
Russia is one of the permanent members of the U.N Security Council. President Vladmir Putin had earlier spoken out against the decision to set up a tribunal to investigation the MH17 crash.
Eleven members of the security council voted in favor of the resolution.
