The new coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh has wasted no time in laying down the marker for the criteria for selection to the national team.
Sunday Oliseh revealed at the media conference yesterday that only Nigerian players playing in the first division will play for the national team. “If you are not playing in first division in anywhere in the world and in Nigeria, you cannot play for the Super Eagles henceforth, However players coming from the under-aged teams are the only exception to this rule”
This new development is sure to rustle some feathers seeing as very few Nigerian footballers command starting shirts in top side clubs.
