Following the recent viral video of certain girls in Lebanon calling for the help of the Federal Government of Nigeria and relevant agencies to rescue them from Lebanon, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has evacuated 94 out of the 150 stranded Nigerian girls in Lebanon.
The Commission announced this via their official Twitter page and posted an emotional video of how the girls were welcomed back into Nigeria by the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
The Commission also revealed that the 94 evacuated girls have proceeded on a 14-day self-isolation as mandated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
