The terrorist sect Boko Haram has in recent times given the Nigerian Army as well as the residents of North Eastern Nigeria sleepless nights.
Recent attacks have spanned Gombe, Yobe as well as Borno.
Just yesterday afternoon, the sect struck again, this time their target was a military base in the small fishing town of Baga in Borno state.
Reports indicate that the terrorists who were heavily armed outgunned and sacked Nigerian soldiers within the military base. The Army is yet to issue an official statement concerning the latest attacks.
Much of North Eastern Nigeria now rests firmly within the control of Boko Haram, most notably the town of Mubi in Adamawa state.
