Selfie lovers and photographers all over Lagos will gather for the very first edition of House of Picture’s photo walk for charity tagged #StreetOgraphy on the 2nd of December!
The maiden edition of the event will hold in Surulere, Lagos in partnership with Braite Lite’s group, organisers of the annual chairty initiative – #ProjectDDD.
In the words of Abebowale Adesuyan, CEO of House of Pictures; “We will be taking photography to the street and giving back to the society, as one of the means of practicing our social responsibilities as photographers.
“The theme STREETOGRAPHY as seen is a merger of two English words “street” and “photography”.
“The idea behind this is to have a crowd of photographers, photo and Art lovers alike, as well as kind hearted people who love to give their time, energy, creativity, and finance in order to help those who are in need of it, come all out to the street to take pictures, storing up moments and networking with like minds, fellow practitioners and possibly professionals from other fields who as well live to take photos.”
Also, coordinator of #ProjectDDD – Channels TV’s Entertainment Presenter, Mayowa Ogundele, says “this is certainly a welcome idea.
“The entire team is super excited about this idea. It’s fresh and forward and certainly a new dimension to spreading love every Christmas as we have done for the past three years”.
“Our aim is to put a smile on faces every December and House of Pictures is helping us make it happen in a grand style as we clock 3”.
To be a part of the photo walk, come along with your shooting gadget of choice; cameras, smartphones, selfie devices as well as anything they use to immortalise moments on the 2nd of December.
Participants are as well expected to come along with a thousand naira (#1,000.00). This will be donated to Braite Lites #ProjectDDD.
So come one and come all! Tell somebody to tell everybody. There are limited customised shirts available for a thousand and three hundred naira (#1,300,00) only.
The walk is expected to last for two hours between 4pm and 7pm. Registration will start by 2:30pm and there will light refreshments during the walk.

PS: Streetography will become an annual event, and the next edition is going to be held simultaneously across different cities of the federation, same time, same day, same goal, but bigger and reaching a larger group of people in need.
