Videos of the devastating effect of the Palisade Wildfire continue to emerge on social media, and it has sparked a massive outpouring of emotions mixed with anger and sadness.
According to reports, five persons have been identified to have died due to scorching wildfire. Over 2000 buildings/structures have been destroyed, including houses, malls, gas stations and several others.
Several American public figures and celebrities have reacted to the destruction caused by the wildfire. The set-to-be sworn-in American president, Donald Trump, shared his thoughts about the Palisade fire and who should be held responsible.
In a statement shared on his social media platform, “Truth”, Trump slammed the governor of California Gavin Newsom as the person responsible for the devastating Inferno ravaging Palisade, Hollywood and Los Angeles.
The world’s richest man and a huge supporter of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, also shared clips of the destruction on his X handle.

According to CBS News, the wildfires continue to rage across Southern California, prompting thousands of evacuations as flames engulfed swaths of Los Angeles neighbourhoods like the Pacific Palisades and residents hurried to escape. Maps of the region show where the Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire and several other blazes have scorched tens of thousands of acres of land.
Palisade wildfires alter the map of Southern California
The expanse of the Palisades Fire, a roaring blaze that has burned through at least 15,832 acres since it broke out Tuesday morning in the affluent Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles, has altered the map of Southern California.
Currently, the largest wildfire in Southern California, the Palisades Fire, grew out of a brush fire that exploded as powerful winds ripped through the area. It expanded rapidly and exponentially on Wednesday.
Reports have it that firefighters are also battling with the Eaton Fire, which trails the Palisades Fire closely in size and has consumed at least 10,600 acres in northern Los Angeles County. Like the Palisades Fire, it expanded dramatically on Wednesday.
The Sunset Fire broke out Wednesday evening in the Runyon Canyon area of the Hollywood Hills, forcing a new set of evacuations. It had burned at least 20 acres of vegetation, officials said.
Crews were also fighting the smaller Hurst, Lidia and Woodley Fires.
