President Jonathan has approved the sack of Aisha Umar who is his Special Assistant on Social Development.
This action was made public yesterday by Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Assistant on Media to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim in a letter bearing Ref. No: PPR/OSGF/PR/02.
According to him, the termination of Umar’s appointment was to be “with effect from the November 25, 2013.”
He did not, however, give reasons for the decision taken.
The President had months ago sacked his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Joy Emordi, Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, Dr. Tunji Olagunju and Youth Minister, Inuwa Abdulkadir.
