The Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) has written a letter to Multichoice, the organizers of the Big Brother Naija reality show, to request for the yet-to-be-paid prizes of the season 7 winner, Josephina ‘Phyna’ Otabor.
The letter that was made public on Monday, April 8, 2024, solicited the settlement of Phyna who recently called out the organizers for their failure to meet up with all they promised.
The PCCSIGN further requested for Multichoice to intervene in the matter and approach the brands who were mentioned in the letter, that are yet to pay Phyna.
The prizes yet to be awarded included supplies from a beverage company that was a major sponsor of the show, a sponsored trip, and 1 Bitcoin, amongst others.
The letter was signed by the Acting President of PCCSIGN, Mr Michael Obinna Nwabufo.
Recall that there was an outrage on social media when Phyna and other housemates from the Big Brother Naija franchise came forward to accuse the organisers of the show of failing to fulfil their promises, yet, are in the process of beginning a new show.
Multichoice is yet to respond to any of the allegations at the time of this article.
