9mobile recently launched an electrifying competition that left audiences on the edge of their seats – the 9Lives Rap Battle competition. The stage was set ablaze with fiery performances, as talented wordsmiths clashed in a battle of wits, rhythm, and rhyme. The competition was fierce, but Chigozie Godspower Obioma a.k.a Omeh Dee, emerged victorious, clinching the grand prize of N1million.
The 9Lives Rap Battle competition is a nationwide competition designed by 9mobile to unearth and promote the next generation of rap superstars. The event displayed the incredible talent that exists within the rap community, with contestants delivering powerful verses that resonated with the audience.
Each participant sought to outdo the other, creating an unforgettable show that the audience will remember for a long time.Gracing the occasion alongside 2 other judges was 9mobile brand ambassador, Franklyn Ikemefune (AKA Samo Agbero or ‘Vader the Wildcard,’) Mohammed Usman Adamu also known as Magnito and Akindele Justina Omowunmi also known as Mz Kiss.
The climax of the eveningwas the crowning of Chigozie Godspower Obioma a.k.a Omeh Dee as the champion of the competition. The joy on his face reflected the passion and hard work he had poured into his craft. 9mobile also rewarded the first runner-up, Folarin Michael Tokunbo a.k.a Mickey Fols with N300,000, and second runner-up,Emmanuel Jonathan a.k.a Big Flow with N200,000. There were consolation prizes for other participants.
