Peruzzi Vibes, whose real name is Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, has cast a shadow on future collaboration prospects with fellow musician Kizz Daniel. The rift stems from a song called “Gwagwalada,” which they originally worked on together. However, the track ultimately ended up in the hands of another artist, BNXN (formerly Buju), without Peruzzi’s knowledge or consent.
During a recent episode of the “Zero Conditions” podcast, Peruzzi unveiled the details of the frustrating experience. He explained how he had initiated the collaboration with Kizz Daniel, who then played various songs before landing on “Gwagwalada.” Kizz Daniel proposed bringing in BNXN, and after a brief meeting, Peruzzi left with the impression that they would discuss the song further. However, to his disappointment, the track was released featuring BNXN and Seyi Vibez, with no prior communication with him.
The lack of communication left Peruzzi feeling disrespected and hurt. “It’s not just about the song,” he explained. “It’s about the lack of basic courtesy. We’re supposed to be colleagues, but this was just unprofessional. So, I don’t see myself working with Kizz Daniel again anytime soon. The trust is broken, and I don’t see a way to mend it right now.”
