Ghana’s rising star in the music scene, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, widely known as Black Sherif, has hinted at potential plans to further his education in clothmaking following the release of his upcoming sophomore album.
The 21-year-old artist, who gained immense popularity in 2021 with hits like ‘First Sermon’ and ‘Second Sermon,’ shared his aspirations on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter). In a tweet, he expressed his intention to prioritize completing his awaited album before considering a return to schooling for clothmaking.
“[I] Need to get this album out and go back to school to learn how to make clothes.” Black Sherif wrote on his social media handle, suggesting a potential shift in his focus post-album release.
This revelation comes on the heels of his successful track record in the music industry, including collaborations with renowned artists like Burna Boy.
While the artist’s commitment to his upcoming album remains unwavering, his contemplation of pursuing education in clothesmaking indicates a potential new chapter in his career trajectory, one that may intertwine his musical prowess with a newfound passion for fashion and design.
