Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinwale popularly known as Joeboy, recently spoke about his life before fame and some of the things he went through before striking gold in the industry.
“I am one of the biggest artiste out of Africa right now, but there was one time I had no money, I was so broke I had to close my account.” Joeboy said in an interview with Dose of Society.
The 26-year-old singer urged people not to end things when it all seems to be going South, he believes “it can always get better”, citing himself as a living example.
He also relieved experiences that made him glad for the point he had attained as an artiste, “my first tour was an East African tour, I stepped on stage and people were screaming and singing the song word for word”.
“Once you keep doing something consistently, it’s only a matter of time that it pays off”, Joeboy added.
