The annual Christmas concert of Daystar Christian Centre will hold Sunday, December 11, 2022. The concert, which is one of the symbolic events of the church, is themed, “The Comforter” this year.
Every year, the concert becomes bigger and better as this year’s edition will be held in all the worship centers at Oregun, Lekki, Ikorodu, and Alimosho, and viewed at the Badagry worship center.
The Senior Pastor of the Church, Pastor Sam Adeyemi noted that “The concert is going to be ‘joy’ on an explosive level, in all our services, on TV, and online, you should not miss it; join us.”
Exciting Christmas renditions and ministrations will be performed by the awarding winning choir and orchestra of the church, widely known as the Healing Streams of God, and the Anointed Fingers. Also ministering is the young and vibrant choir of The StarHub, the youth arm of Daystar Christian Centre.
“For us at Daystar, Christmas often comes early and we love to celebrate it in grand style. This year, we go bigger as we celebrate at all our worship centers across Lagos,” says Pastor Boye Oloyede, an Associate Pastor of the church.
Unlike previous editions, this year’s Christmas concert will be held live at all the worship centers of the church. These include the main church auditorium at Plot A3c, Ikosi Road, Oregun, Lagos. Other locations of the concert are the Daystar Christian Centre worship locations at Glitz Event Centre, Lekki 2nd roundabout, Lagos; Iceland Civic Centre, Egbeda-Idimu; Epic Event & Conference Centre, Itamaga, Ikorodu; and viewed at Omo Oba place, Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Badagry.
“Our music team is in high spirits and optimally prepared to minister excellently at this year’s Christmas concert. We have had the most amazing time in our rehearsals, and we can’t wait to minister to our congregation on D-day”, says Dr. Sheyi Khenny, the Music Director of Daystar Christian Centre.

The Christmas concert will also be aired on Sunday, December 11, 2022, on the following television channels: TVC (DSTV channel 418, and GOTV channel 45) at 9:00a.m (GMT+1), as well as Wazobia TV (DSTV channel 259, UHF-57) by 8:00a.m (GMT+1).
It promises to be a Sunday morning Christmas concert like no other, as members and guests will worship God with amazing Christmas songs to usher in the Yuletide season for this year.
