Rapper 50 Cent pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges in court in Los Angeles on Monday.
The star allegedly attacked the mother of his child in June and was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism.
The musician, real name Curtis Jackson, is said to have kicked down the door of his ex-girlfriend’s home who then apparently locked herself in the bathroom.
The star allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend.
He is also accused of causing £4,647 worth of damage to items including chandeliers, furniture, a television and a lamp.
50’s lawyer denied the charges against him last month and released a statement saying they were looking into the claims themselves.
At the time they said: “Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him… We have been in contact with LA City Attorney’s Office and are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations.”
