American singer and mother of three has dropped a new music video of her song, ‘Rooted’ today, 13th August, 2020.
According to a statement on her official Instagram page, she shot the music video two days before giving birth to her baby, Win.

The song, ‘Rooted’ by Ciara is dedicated to all Black Queens and Kings for the sake of reminding them that everything they need to survive and thrive is rooted in them.
Ciara has also disclosed that a portion from the sales she makes out of her new song, ‘Rooted’ will go to support a non-profit organization, Grantmakers for Girls of Color, a leading organization dedicated to cultivating investments in support of girls of colour in the United States.
The music video itself also includes a message to the Black community which reads, “To all my young Rosa’s and young Luther’s, keep marching. Don’t stop fighting for what you believe in. To all my Black queens and kings, continue to plant and spread seeds of love, hope and pride in your tribe. Everything you need to survive and thrive is rooted in you. Stay rooted.”
