The Lagos State Emergency Management Authority has demolished the buildings gutted by fire in Mushin, Lagos. This was disclosed by Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority.
The buildings to be pulled down include 30 shops and six bungalows which were destroyed in the fire incident which occurred at No. 16, Ladipo Street, Mushin, Lagos.
The Director-General also enjoined the public to take reasonable safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire outbreak in their places of business and homes. He also said that investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
