The Lagos State Government has discharged eight more COVID-19 patients who have now tested negative to the virus.
The government made this known in a series of tweets via Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s verified Twitter handle @jidesanwoolu on Tuesday.
The governor had tweeted: “More great news today from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.
“Eight more people: two females and six males have tested negative and fully recovered from #COVID19. They have been discharged to return to their families.
“This brings the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities to 69.
“Please, let us continue to adhere to all the safety advice from our health experts.”

Lagos has recorded 192 Coronavirus cases of the overall 343 national cases.
This new update brings Lagos discharged cases to 69 patients, while two patients have been evacuated.
