The recent win marks the third time the country will be taking home the world cup. The first time was in 1995 in Johannesburg and 2007 in Paris.
100% – The @Springboks are the only side to have a 100% winning record in @rugbyworldcup finals, now winning each of their three appearances at this stage; only the All Blacks have lifted the Webb Ellis Cup as often as South Africa. Perfect.#RWCFinal #RWC2019 #ENGvRSA pic.twitter.com/1825nsCfCi

Today we join over 57 million South Africans in congratulating our team, the Springboks for their victory over England in Japan. This is the third trophy South Africa has lifted since the dawn of democracy. #RWCFinal #EngvRSA 1/2 pic.twitter.com/XS9ktGQUo1
