A Judge has found WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, guilty of breaking his bail conditions after seeking asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy for seven years to evade arrest.
Assange’s lawyers argued that the Australian he did not surrender in 2012 and was forced to seek asylum because he felt he would never have received a fair trial.
The Judge disputed that assertion and called Assange a “narcissist who cannot get beyond his own selfish interest.”
The Judge subsequently ordered him to remain in custody and appear back in court on May 2 for an extradition hearing
The London Police arrested the 47-year old early Thursday morning in the Ecuadorian embasssy in London where he has been staying since 2012.
WikiLeaks has since said that the Police were invited by the Government of Ecuador.
